Our go-to boiling tap maker, Quooker, has just released two new finishes, Rose Copper and Gunmetal.
We had the opportunity to see both and loved the Gunmetal finish so much that we have ordered one for our showroom display. Please do pop in to have a look.
Quooker
If you aren’t aware of the brand, Quooker is, rightly, the boiling tap of choice. Most of our team have one in their homes and now find it indispensable in their kitchens.
The Quooker system was designed by a physicist, Han Peteri, who was working on an instant soup recipe for an international company and thought it was silly to have a product that was instant when you had to wait for the kettle to boil. The thing that really sets these taps apart is that it is truly boiling water. You can also add an accessory that will give you chilled, filtered and sparkling water. - all delivered from one tap.
Gunmetal
Gunmetal is a type of bronze once used for ammunition. The shade combines deep dark grey with blue undertones and subtle sheen.
It gives a dark kitchen depth and it gives power and contrast to a light kitchen. Whilst more contemporary, we feel it will give a country kitchen an added dimension or twist.
